Reasons for failing an Advanced driving test

 

• Exceeding speed limit
• Braking too late and harshly
• Cutting right-hand corners
• Jerky gear changes
• Riding the clutch
• Coasting
• Changing gears sequentially
• Not using mirrors effectively
• Incorrect use of signals
• Poor anticipation skills
• Inadequate observations at junctions

The list is not comprehensive, there are a lot more which is too much to include here.

 

Another reason a lot of people fail, is having an either an agressive or unsympathetic attitude.
